City Wide Garage Sale

Our Annual City Wide Yard Sale dates are set!

There are no permits required for these dates, the only requirements are to clean up your sale by the end of the weekend!

Join us for our City Wide Clean Up, an annual event that takes place in May after the City Wide Garage Sale. Don't miss out on this opportunity to help keep our city beautiful!

Old Timers Day Events & Rodeo

Join us for Old Timers Day, an annual event that takes place at the end May and the beginning of June, celebrating the memories of the past! It's a fun-filled day packed with events for the whole family to enjoy, including live entertainment, a parade, cash drawings, cornhole, and a thrilling stock tank race. The festivities continue with a weekend-long rodeo at Southwest City Rodeo Arena. Don't miss out on this exciting celebration!

3rd of July Celebration

Join us for our annual 3rd of July firework display at Blankenship Park! We welcome all vendors to be part of this exciting event, with a permit fee of $100.00 to set up. Permits can be obtained at City Hall either in person or via email; find the application in the link below. Enjoy live music, delicious chicken dinners for purchase, free watermelon, and a spectacular fireworks display starting at dark. Bring your family & friends for a fun-filled evening celebrating our freedom!

Trunk or Treat

Join us for our annual Trunk or Treat at Blankenship Park on October 31st at 6 PM! Families, local churches, and businesses are warmly invited to join the fun by decorating their cars, dressing up in costumes, and handing out candy to the children in the park. It's a fantastic way to celebrate Halloween and create lasting memories in our community. Don't miss out on this spooktacular event!
